Mario and his Menagerie
I met Mario and his animals outside of a cafe in Montreal. He has seven dogs and a cat. I noticed him go by because his cat rides at the front of the cart that he pushes with what I can only call a magisterial air.
I learned later that Mario has rescued all of the dogs after they were abandoned and that they live with him on the street.
